Flitwick better be sodding happy two updates in a week thats unheard of for me.
I got a new parcel in the mail its a history of the language of the original charms, Its really actually interesting they were alot more elemental based. there was an essay from granderfoggendorfer the seventh about how as times change it directly effects the style of charms, much like the changes in the literary books of both the muggle and wizard kingdoms. I know that most charms have a basis in latin like all things but as its all but a dead language there is speculation that the mispronuciation has much to do with the decreased strenght in the charms.
I think next year I'll try to look more in to spell building.
On to less acedemic levels i am just utterly bored, yes even I Terrance Boot have gotten tired of school. I know the winter holiday just passed us but my isn't it like time for summer break already? The only advantage to is soon the committies will begin to start up for the inerschool comps

What: Warming up
Teddy was still in a fine mood which was almost surprising considering that usually he didn't have quite such a light spirit for any lenght of time but he had managed to pull an A on his potions and Snape had given no indication that he had any idea of the theft of the night prior altho he had given the boy a slightly miffed look. Teddy's cheeks had turned the appropriate shade of ruddy, but it wasn't from embareesment it was from the urge to keep the laugh surpressed down. But still his marks were high and he was done with a fair share of his homework. He had come back to the dorms and not that he had expected to find anything checked his desk to see if perhaps an owl had come, not that he saw them with any regularity
Teddy had wandered back in to the commons one of his fathers books in his hand as he sat down in one of the over stuffed chairs closer to the fire and opened the worn book fingers sliding over the words, he knew too well. the book had been marked in places from where his father had made small notes here and there. occationally he found one he hadn't noticed before. Teddy had a small glass of pumpkin juice all but forgotten next to him as he watched the fire and turned the page.
his father would have been proud of him right now.
When he heard the thick hollow sound of the knuckles cracking he didn't even look up.
"Hello Vincent"

9:34 pm - Of Quiet Times

Dispite the rather charitable excuse from my journal duties given to me by my teachers, I really do think that its about time I return to a normal life. I must take a few moments to say thank you once again to all who have taken the time to send their sentiments to both myself and to my fathers resting place. I do appologize for not returning word sooner of my well being.
I have not much to speak of as far as school. I am doing well as can be expected in my classes and have finished ahead of schedual in potions and may have time to work a bit more on the final project which is said to always reflect well upon those that accomplish them.

Well okay so I have gotten the all too subtle "hint" from Flitwick that should I not keep up in my usual studies as well as house participation that I will not be allowed to continue other activities such as the choir. I wasn't aware that the teachers in this school could black mail and threaten... or that flitwick could be so convincing, apparently today is a day of much discovery.
Anyway here I am back and accounted for, I hope you all had lovely holidays and all that rubbish.
